Description:-

MIXDOSE CV-625 is combination of two medicine AMOXYCILLIN+ CLAVULANIC ACID. Amoxicillin works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering, which is necessary for the survival of the bacteria. Thereby, it kills the bacteria. Clavulanic acid works by decreasing bacterial resistance and enhancing the activity of amoxicillin against the bacteria. Together, AMOXICILLIN+CLAVULANIC ACID helps in treating bacterial infections. belongs to the group of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, bone, soft tissue, joints, urinary tract, and respiratory tract. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria infect our body.

AMOXYCILLIN is used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It is effective in infections of the throat, ear, nasal sinuses, respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia), urinary tract, skin and soft tissue, It is a broad-spectrum antibiotic that fights and stops the growth of many types of bacteria. This medicine is best taken with a meal to reduce the chance of a stomach upset. This medicine usually makes you feel better quite quickly. However, you should continue taking it as long as it is prescribed even when you feel better, to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

CLAVULANIC ACID is a medication that can be used in conjunction with amoxicillin to manage and treat bacterial infections, specifically bacteria that are beta-lactamase producers. It is in the beta-lactamase inhibitor class of medications. inactivates some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, therefore preventing enzymatic destruction of amoxicillin. This helps to treat a variety of bacterial infections which would otherwise be resistant to antibiotics without the addition of clavulanic acid.
